Pacific premiered at Teatro Municipal de Niteroi, Brazil. Adams' work for Pacific investigated the exoticization of traditional ceremony and the cultural pageantry of dance rituals like Rio’s famous annual Carnival. Pacific presented a two-sided stage investigation assessing the social boundaries that can occur in the stereotyping of cultural exoticism and gender. Circumnavigating around the spectacle of dance rituals as an entry point for social commentary on connectivity, queerness and acceptance.

Housed in Temperance Hall's studio upstairs, Gregory's works document the project and capture the transformation and rapture of this cross-cultural collaboration.

Opening Event: Wednesday 12 July, 6-8pm. All welcome! Including drinks and panel discussion with Gregory Lorenzutti, Phillip Adams and special guests.
