COME ALONG HEAR WHAT WE ARE PLANNING

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING

Through the lens of history, KINGDOM will take your experiences of HIV/AIDS and those of the broader affected community in Victoria to become an expression of physical utopias. KINGDOM encourages participants to discover and articulate their individual Kingdom of utopia. What defines and shapes this? Who we are? How do we define our identities from the outside and inside the life changing impact of a HIV diagnosis?

KINGDOM involves individuals in a series of workshops designed to explore their stories in collaboration with choreographers and collaborating artists to create a striking and very human performative experience presented as a contemporary artwork. Resulting in a series of co-authored individual-portraits, KINGDOM represents the opportunity for your story to be told through various forms of artistic expression including choreography, visual arts, theatre, text, song or film. We are interested in your involvement and respect your desire for public or private involvement.

We are calling for participation from within the community (men/women/children) of all ages and all cultures regardless of status, to join us on Wednesday 12 June at 6pm for an evening introduction to KINGDOM. Lead artists Phillip Adams and Andrew Hazewinkel will discuss their creative vision of KINGDOM  and explain the multiple ways through which you can be involved on this incredibly powerful project.
