Less than 24 hours to book for this Sunday's A Kingdom in an Afternoon

08/08/13

We're looking forward to a ripper afternoon at Yering Station Winery on Sunday.

The weather forecast is great - sunny and the wine excellent.

You have less than 24 hours to book your place and enjoy a stunning afternoon with Phillip Adams BalletLab.

A Kingdom in An Afternoon will feature the first look at Kingdom, a rich and powerful project that includes a community partnership with the Victorian AIDS Council with workshops to roll out later this year. All proceeds will support Kingdom and our other major project Thumb.

An excerpt presentation of Kingdom will be performed live by Philip AdamsLuke GeorgeRennie McDougall and Matthew Day.

Mama Alto, an extraordinary countertenor and queer songstress will also perform just for us.

Brook Andrew, a leading visual artist joins Phillip Adams to discuss Kingdom's themes.

And not forgetting the opportunity to purchase some incredible artworks and images from Sally Smart (*pictured above - Choreographing Collage (Performance) 2013), Mikala Dwyer and Phillip's selection of 5 pivotal Jeff Busby images, alongside some wonderful Yering Station wines and experiences through the Silent Auction to conclude at 3.30pm.

The full catalogue and details is now available online. Payment plans are available on larger items.

Guests will enjoy Yering wines, delicious foods and take home a special gift bag, courtesy of Yering Station and Phillip Adams BalletLab. You will also enjoy a discount on wines purchased from the Cellar Door.

Book now for a lazy sunny Sunday of art, wine and food.

NOTE: Bookings will close off by 12 noon tomorrow.
