New Miracle and Above Videos on Vimeo

New short videos of Above and Miracle ready to view on Vimeo.
Take a moment to look over some of our currently touring works.
Above, which premiered at MONA FOMA 2011 (see mona.net.au) as the third part of The Trilogy, following performances of Phillip Adams BalletLab's Amplification (1999) and Miracle (2009). This work was developed in part in Mexico with Lux Boreal (a contemporary dance company based in Tijuana), who premiered their version, Lamb, in the Festival of Mexico in March 2011. Lamb is currently touring USA/Mexico (see Lux Boreal).

Documentation of the US Premiere of Phillip Adams BalletLab's Miracle (2009) at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) (empac.rpi.edu) in NY, USA in October 2010. Miracle was presented as part of EMPAC's Filament Festival. It is a dance and sound installation that uses 70s cult religion and group behaviours to explore the desire for transcendence from the everyday.
